2023 was an exciting year at Deep Gap Fire! Read about the highlights below…

-Responded to 285 total incidents

-Final inspection on our new pumper-engine (January 24′ delivery date)

-Station staffed Monday through Friday with part-time staff

-More work completed on our Stony Fork Sub-Station (construction will hopefully start in late 24′)

-New sign installed in the lower parking lot

-Added 5 new members

-Purchased 15 new dual-band (VHF & VIPER ) 2-way radios for interoperability
