Starting out to be a busy 2024 for Deep Gap Fire! So far this year, we have responded to almost 50 calls for service. The biggest incidents we’ve seen this month is a 10+ acre woods fire (see photo above) in the Stony Fork Community and a structure fire on Elk Creek Rd in the Stewart Simmons Fire District. Our members have also been very busy attending  classes in the Technical Rescuer and Firefighter series.
