On the morning of December 1st, just past 7:15am, Deep Gap Fire along with Boone Fire and Watauga Medics were dispatched to South Pine Run Rd in the Rutherwood community of our district for a reported structure fire. First arriving units determined it was an outbuilding fire located behind a residence with some spread to the nearby woods. Thank you to units from Boone Fire Station 3 for their help with the quick fire attack!
