Recently, members from Deep Gap Fire attended a “live burn” training to better our skills and knowledge of structure fires. Live burns are controlled training exercises where firefighters practice extinguishing a real, active fire in a designated structure. We would like to thank Boone Fire for the training invitation and the local family for donating their former home!
