
Deep Gap responds to first due house fire!
On July 30th around 2:20pm, Deep Gap Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire on Old 421 S. near the Brown’s Farm Road intersection.
Within 2 minutes, Engine 2301, Tanker 2306, & Squad 2304 with 4 personnel arrived to find a 2 story farm house with heavy smoke from the Charlie side and fire coming from the front door. Deep Gap Fire crews made an aggressive attack and Deep Gap command, Chief Seth Norris was able to call a “control time” within 45 minutes of initial dispatch.
