We would like to wish DGFD member Jamie Dunn good luck as he attends the fire academy!

Jamie starts a 3 month fire academy at Cleveland Community College. Upon graduating and returning to Deep Gap Fire, he will be a NC certified Firefighter & EMT-Basic!

Jamie Dunn joined our department in December 2020 after numerous years serving the U.S. Coast Guard. Since then, he has excelled in his role at Deep Gap Fire responding to many calls and helping our Full Time Firefighter out whenever possible.

Jamie is the second member to go through the Cleveland Community College Fire Academy in 2021. FF Kacey Brown just graduated from the first class of 2021.

We are excited to see the commitment and determination of our members to achieve their goals and provide the best service to our community!
