Unlike municipal fire departments, Deep Gap doesn’t have available fire hydrants that we can pull water from during a fire incident. Rural fire departments, such as Deep Gap, pull water from creeks, ponds, rivers and underground tanks to supply our tankers and engines. Our team trains on this operation routinely.
