RIP Gary Taylor

We are deeply saddened to learn about the passing of one of our retired members Gary Taylor. Gary is the father to our current Lt. Brantley Taylor and grandfather to FF Daniel Taylor.

Gary Taylor spent 25+ years as a volunteer for Deep Gap Fire Department where he rose to the ranks of Lieutenant and one was of the founding members for our medical first responder team all while being employed as a paramedic for Watauga Medics & Wilkes EMS.

In 2010, Gary moved to the coast, where he retired as a paramedic for Brunswick County EMS and was still an active member of Calabash Fire Department.

Gary was a phenomenal individual and his contributions to the communities he served was unmatched and will forever be with us!

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Vickie and the entire Taylor family!
