On Wednesday, January 25th, just before 7pm, Deep Gap Fire Department was dispatched to the area of US Highway 421 S and Phillips Drive for a reported vehicle fire. First arriving crews found the car fully involved and leaking fuel into the highway. No injuries were reported and State Highway Patrol assisted with traffic control
